Customer Service Representative

We’re looking for an organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll partner with a Regional Sales Manager to support customers throughout every stage of the sales process—from quoting and sampling to order management and delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service while working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing prompt, professional service
  • Prepare and manage customer quotes
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate sample requests, drawings, and product information
  • Track orders and provide proactive updates to customers
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely production and shipment
  • Support Regional Sales Managers with customer projects and daily activities
  • Enter and maintain quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders in our ERP system
  • Maintain organized electronic customer files and documentation
  • Assist with inventory availability, pricing requests, and order status inquiries
  • Follow up on customer questions, open projects, and past-due invoices
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service, inside sales, or administrative experience
  • Packaging or distribution industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from home
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus)
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro experience is a plus, but not required

Travel

  • Occasional travel with your Regional Sales Manager to customer visits and industry trade shows
  • Must be comfortable traveling by automobile and air
  • Overnight travel is minimal and typically limited to approximately one overnight stay every two years

Work Schedule
